A media watchdog NGO that observes human rights abuses in West Papua has received reports from Puncak Jaya stating that Indonesia troops have stormed through a village killing seven people.
“Today Indonesian military stormed several villages in the Jambi, Sinak
Ilu and Tingginambut districts of Mulia. Weapons used were rockets,
bazookas and grenades. Seven people confirmed dead. Awaiting further
information before re-posting,” West Papua Media Announcements wrote.
