Australia's Attorney General Nicola Roxon has been in Indonesia discussing the people smuggling issue with Indonesia's minister for justice and human rights, Amir Syamsuddin.

Ms. Roxon says the pair have been discussing closer cooperation on a range of regional security issues, including counter-terrorism and the rule of law.
She's also expressed concern over the recent violence in Indonesia's troubled Papua province.
