Arrest of Human Rights Campaigner Peter Tatchell during State Visit of Indonesian President Yudhoyono (London 31 Oct 2012)

London 31st October 2012: Human Rights campaigner Peter Tatchell joined the Free West Papua movement to protest against the state visit of the Indonesian President Yudhoyono in London. Peter finds it a disgrace that the Royal Family and Prime Minister David Cameron are hosting Yudhoyono who is responsible for genocidal mass murder in illegally colonised and occupied West Papua. He was also implicated in past war crimes in East Timor. Peter got arrested by policemen when he tried to unfurl a West Papuan flag as the presidential limousine departed Westminster Abbey.
