Dutch Prime Minister Rutte heads the largest Dutch trade mission to Indonesia ever. Next week Rutte will be accompanied by 15 Dutch CEO's and well over 100 Dutch companies to strengthen relations and explore opportunities. It is save to say that the topic around the abominable sitution in Papua and West Papua will be avoided or at least obscured from the participants as the program does not include a Human Rights activity. Yes, it is a trade mission, but participants should be made well aware of the complete failure of Indonesian government to solve domestic Human Rights issues prior to engaging in any form of partnership.
